Important Facts about the LDS Church

First of all, let me say that I firmly belief that Joseph Smith was a Prophet, Seer and Revelator and the revelations and doctrine he received and shared with us are inspired by God. The Bible, Book of Mormon, Book of Abraham and Moses are all inspired scriptures and that we need to pay close attention to the scriptures.

 

1.       It is now obvious that Joseph Smith was never a polygamist (he was an honest Seer not a lying polygamist)

a.        Joseph and Hyrum fought against polygamy until the day they died

b.       We can now see where Joseph’s journal was modified to reverse his stated opposition to polygamy.

c.        Emma testified all the way to her death that Joseph was never a polygamist

d.       Why did Brigham and Heber C. Kimball both add about 10 wives after Joseph died?

2.       Brigham was not transfigured in Nauvoo

a.        Orson Hyde and John D. Lee - strong testimonies of the transfiguration, but they were not there.

b.       There is not even one contemporary source for such a transfiguration

3.       A fundamental belief of the current church is that the leader is a prophet, seer and revelator.

a.        Although they never give us revelations from God, or prophecy or show signs of being a seer.

b.       Russell M. Nelson testified of a revelation to the church, then later does the opposite

c.        Amos 3:7 (sôd) requires much more than is shown by our current leaders.

d.       We all should be prophets (Rev. 19:10, Num 11:29)

4.       Why did God the Father command Jesus to give us the warning in 3 Nephi 16:10 that talks about our day?

a.        Does our day match the scriptural description of 3 Nephi 16:10, Mormon 8:28-41,

5.       Do we believe the day would come when the constitution would hang by a thread?

a.         Why are we not allowed to even entertain the idea that our election was stolen in 2020?

b.       Why is January 6th named an insurrection, when no weapons were involved and people are in prison without a trial.

c.        Why does the Department of Justice bring swat teams to people’s homes without warning or need.

d.       Why does our country support endless wars with no purpose?

6.       The Lectures on Faith edited by Joseph Smith contain true doctrine that we have lost.

a.        D&C 130 was added after Joseph’s death, but because the Lectures didn’t agree we discarded the Lectures.

And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.

Num 11:29

And Moses said unto him, Enviest thou for my sake? would God that all the LORD’s people were prophets, and that the LORD would put his spirit upon them!
